Carradales – Open to Europe

Our Blog

It certainly has been an exciting season.

In preparation for the next year and the Year of Coastal Waters #YCW2020 we were delighted to have Kathi Kamleitner, an award-winning Blogger, travel writer, content creator and travel consultant staying with us at Carradales.  Kathi was here to explore this undiscovered part of the West coast of Scotland. I know that she was amazed.

Just take a look at these links and videos to tempt you to stunning Kintyre.

Additionally, in November I attended the VisitScotland Pan-European workshop in Frankfurt.

We want to shout about Carradales and the beautiful area of Kintyre that surrounds us. What better way to entice people to Kintyre than by meeting the European Tour Operators.  All were very impressed to see what we and Kintyre has to offer. It certainly was an enjoyable and rewarding couple of days meeting our Scottish partners and of course Travel agents and Tour Operators from all over Europe who want to send clients to beautiful Carradale and Kintyre.

To our neighbours in the UK and mainland Europe, we want you to know that we would love you to come to stay with us and experience our hospitality and all that Kintyre has to offer.

A warm welcome awaits you!

It is with a heavy heart and deep regret that we announce the closure of Carradales.

The relentless pressures and challenges of the hospitality industry have finally taken their toll, making it impossible for us to continue.

Of course, it goes without saying that current bookings will be honoured.

We would like to thank all our local, UK and international guests and suppliers for their support.

With all best wishes

Maurice and Steve
